Music to Our Ears: Seattle’s Own Benaroya Hall
Home of the Seattle Symphony in Downtown Seattle, Benaroya Hall elegantly claims a whole block in the center of the city. Known for its outstanding acoustic technology and modern architecture, the performance hall is remarkably insulated from the city noises that are constant right outside of its walls. The performance hall features two auditoria, one with a seating capacity of 2,500 and the other with just above 500 — a large capacity that somehow manages to give visitors a sweet sense of intimacy among the melodic harmonies.
Benaroya draws the attention of diverse visitors, as the venue attracts a wide variety of musical guests, events and movie screenings. The multi-level auditoria allow both the luxury and “cheap seats” to have remarkable views and unmatched resonance, giving every guest a taste of the beauty and splendor that fills the hall. Guests have the fortunate opportunity to gaze upon glass fixtures crafted by world-renowned Dale Chihuly and acclaimed architecture as produced by LMN Architects of Seattle. Both aesthetically pleasing and musically inimitable, Benaroya Hall is a complex melodic facility that appeals to the whole family.

“Every seat in Benaroya Hall is great. I've been all the way in the back on the 3rd level and the ground floor, and I can see and hear really well. In fact, the sound acoustics are even better on the 3rd level! I love that Benaroya Hall makes the symphony accessible for young patrons too, check out their special ticketing programs for those in their 20s/30s and students.” -Angel I., Yelp
