This is your family’s opportunity to “see the zoo brighter than ever before!” Woodland Park Zoo's Wildlights features over 60,000 LED energy-efficient lights (this IS Seattle after all) lining its meandering pathways. Stroll through the holiday bliss, enjoy an indoor snowball fight in the Zoomazium, and then stop by the Holiday Wine and Beer Garden for some adult refreshments or hot fresh donuts and cocoa. You can even ride the carousel at night, and meet Santa (at specific times when he’s taking time off from the North Pole- check website for dates and times). While most of the animals will be snoozing away during Wildlights, there are plenty of reptiles, amphibians and a whole gaggle of meercats waiting to give you a warm winter welcome!

Snowflake Lane

seattle holidaysThe Bellevue Collection
8th & Bellevue Way, Bellevue

Now through December 27, Nightly at 7pm

This is an event to remember- complete with drummers, ice princesses, stilt walkers and a finale snowstorm – Snowflake Lane will become your new family tradition. Grab dinner at one of The Bellevue Collection’s delicious restaurants and then head out to Bellevue Way. The fun starts nightly at 7pm and lasts no more than a half an hour, but it’s important to get there early and dress warm. Though the snow is not real, it is a chilly and very crowded (but worth it) experience.
