"Went to Seattle on business and was looking for a comfortable and well-priced hotel. The Pan Pacific hotel is both, but is also modern, extremely clean and well - kept, and the service is outstanding. Want extra tea instead of coffee for your in-room coffee maker? Someone will be right up with a selection of teas, cold milk and utensils on a tray. Felt very much at home, all for a great price. Also close to the major sites- 10-15 mins walk to Pike Place market, the Space Needle, and the convention center, and the hotel is over a Whole Foods if you don't feel like eating out. All in all a great experience. Would definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I stayed here while she was attending a conference. Our room was paid for by our employer then, so I can't speak as to the value of the rooms. I will say though that we were very happy with the size of our room and the view. We were up on the 31st floor of the North Tower and could easily see the Sound and the Space Needle out our window. I was very happy with the size of the room as well. Some of the rooms I've stayed in in a big city before have been small then some walk in closets. We would definitely consider paying the full price if we ever get to make it back."

#6 Mayflower Park Hotel  -  rooms from $149

The Mayflower Park Hotel opens directly into Westlake Center, with 80 specialty shops and direct access to the Monorail, which means you are just a 2 minute ride away from the Space Needle, Seattle Center and Experience Music Project.

"We enjoyed our stay at the Mediterranean from the rooftop seating area with fantastic views of Puget Sound down to the lobby with an exercise room and an attached Starbucks. Our room was perfect with the same excellent view of the water, and we could watch the sun set over the Olympic Mountains from our window. The staff were young and friendly, but I did wish they were more knowledgeable about where to go and how to get there. Still, the location of our hotel was amazing - very close to downtown, but without any of the noise. It is a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Seattle Center."
