Call for RSVPs to October 21st Employee Brunch
The Space Needle is calling for employees past and present to come celebrate their shared history on October 21, the day the 1962 World’s Fair closed and a new era for Seattle began. It is both the vision of the Space Needle’s designers and architects and the experience delivered to visitors that has allowed the Space Needle to become the icon of Seattle and for this we wish to celebrate with those elevator operators, servers, admission agents and staff of all seniority and duration that played a part.
- WHEN: October 21, from 11 am to 2 pm on the SkyLine level of the Space Needle. Brunch will be served.
- WHO: All current and past Space Needle employees are invited to join the festivities.
- HOW: RSVP, with your name, dates of employment and title, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- WHY: The Space Needle is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2012. Built for the 1962 World’s Fair, the Space Needle has become the Number One attraction in the Pacific Northwest, with over one million visitors each year. Along with Sky City, the world’s first revolving restaurant, the Space Needle is now recognized as the global icon for the City of Seattle.
